Pick Up The Phone operates pickupthephone.today. By purchasing from or accessing our store, you agree to the following terms.

1. The Preorder Model

Most products sold by Pick Up The Phone are preorders. This means:

  • You pay in full at the time of checkout.
  • Production begins after the drop window closes.
  • Estimated delivery is 2 to 3 weeks from the close of the drop.
  • Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Delays can occur due to production or shipping.


2. Payment

All orders are charged at the time of purchase. We accept all major credit and debit cards through Shopify Payments. By placing an order, you authorize us to charge the full amount to your payment method.


3. Order Limits and Availability

Each drop has a limited unit cap. Once that cap is reached or the drop window closes, no additional orders will be accepted. We do not offer waitlists or backorders after a drop has closed.


4. Cancellations

Because production is funded by preorders, we are unable to accept cancellations once a drop window has closed. If you need to cancel before the drop closes, contact us at pickupthephonetoday@gmail.com and we will do our best to accommodate you.


5. Digital Products

Digital products, including zines and wallpaper packs, are delivered electronically via a download link. All digital sales are final. Once a digital file has been downloaded, it cannot be refunded.


6. Intellectual Property

All text, graphics, product names, and brand assets on pickupthephone.today are the intellectual property of Pick Up The Phone. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content without express written permission.


7. Limitation of Liability

Pick Up The Phone is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific product in question.


8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any disputes shall be resolved in Hennepin County, Minnesota.


9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.

  • Send SMS messages through The Circle, only if you have opted in.

3. SMS Marketing (The Circle)

By opting into The Circle, you agree to receive SMS messages from Pick Up The Phone. These may include drop announcements, early access, and exclusive updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP. Opting out of SMS does not affect your ability to place orders on our site.


4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Shopify, our ecommerce platform, which processes payments and stores order data.
  • Postscript, our SMS marketing platform, which manages The Circle.
  • TapStitch and other fulfillment partners, solely to fulfill your order.
  • Law enforcement or legal authorities, when required by law.


5. Cookies

Our site uses cookies to improve your browsing experience and track site performance. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features of the site may not function properly as a result.


6. Data Retention

We retain your order information for as long as necessary to fulfill orders and comply with legal requirements. You may request deletion of your personal data by emailing pickupthephonetoday@gmail.com.

Refund Policy

Because Pick Up The Phone operates on a preorder model, our refund policy reflects the nature of how our products are made. Please read this carefully before placing an order.

Preorder Items — Hoodies, Tees, Apparel

All apparel items are produced after the drop window closes, funded by preorder sales. Because of this:

  • We cannot accept cancellations after the drop window closes.
  • We do not offer refunds or exchanges for preorder items unless the item arrives damaged or defective.
  • If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery at pickupthephonetoday@gmail.com with your order number and photos of the issue. We will make it right.


Digital Products — Zines, Wallpaper Packs

All digital product sales are final. Because digital files can be downloaded immediately, we do not offer refunds once a file has been accessed or downloaded.


Wrong Item or Missing Order

If you receive the wrong item or your order does not arrive within the estimated timeframe, contact us at pickupthephonetoday@gmail.com. We will investigate and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


Shipping

We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or events outside our control. If your package is lost in transit, contact us and we will work with the carrier to locate it or arrange a replacement where possible.
